SALTR was born from the sea — off the wild, untamed shores of Gossen, Norway — the country of my family origins. Here, amidst crashing waves and salt-kissed air, our salt is hand-harvested by an artisan whose devotion to purity shapes every crystal with care and intention.

Our journey began with personal health challenges. Being on a low-carb diet combined with significant health problems, we couldn't find a convenient hydration product that met up to our standards. We regularly came up against products that used table salt, were high in heavy metals, microplastics, mold, sugars, and strange hidden ingredients.
